Subject: Seeking Sponsors to Support First Friday Year-Round

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I hope this message finds you well. It gives us immense pleasure to share the remarkable journey of First Friday, which is now on the brink of completing its second year of successful events. We owe this achievement to the unwavering support of our sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and the fantastic community that joins us on these special evenings of music, delectable food, and a nostalgic dose of classic cars. The sales from food purchases have played a crucial role in keeping these events free for all.

Looking ahead to January 2024, we’re thrilled to announce that First Friday will continue year-round, from January through December. This exciting expansion is possible due to the generous offer from Riverview Café, which will provide a warm and inviting venue for our events during the colder months and inclement weather.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we are reaching out to you for your invaluable assistance. We need sponsors for the upcoming year, and we believe that you can play a pivotal role in securing these sponsors. Consider the people within your network who might be interested in supporting our cause. Sponsors not only get recognition on our monthly flyers and during the event but are also prominently featured on the Events Board at Bear Towne Market. Our event flyers are widely circulated throughout our community and neighboring towns, providing valuable exposure for the sponsoring business or individual.

We are deeply grateful to our loyal sponsors over the past two years, whose support has been instrumental in our success:

– Downtown Development Association (DDA)
– Riverview Café
– Hardison’s Carolina BBQ
– Weyco Community Credit Union
– Lakeside Realty
– Riddick Repair Service
– Subway of Plymouth
– Plymouth Storage
– Baker-Allen
– Southern Bank
– East Carolina Supply
– Beulah Land Bookstore & Gifts
– Mamas Pizza of Plymouth
– Golden Skillet of Plymouth
– Robbie Barber Electrical
– Bistro 116
– Expressive Designs
– Porter Properties
– Diversified Wood Products (DWP)

If you have any leads or connections to businesses or individuals willing to sponsor a First Friday event, please consider reaching out to them. Downtown Development Association (DDA) is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization, and while the typical sponsorship amount is $200, we are more than willing to accept any donation, big or small, with gratitude.

Your support is vital in making our town a delightful place for all to enjoy. We thank you in advance for your help and commitment to this community initiative.

Warm regards,

DDA’s First Friday Committee
